The family of a missing Montgomery County woman has increased the reward to $15,000 for information that assists law enforcement in finding her location.’
Jennifer Brown, 43, of Limerick Township, was last seen by her friend and business associate at 2 p.m. on Jan. 3. She is described as a white female with brown hair and green eyes standing 5-feet-1-inch tall and weighing 150 pounds.
Investigators said Brown was supposed to pick up her son from the school bus stop during the afternoon of Jan. 4, however she never showed up. Her vehicle was later found parked outside of her home with her car keys, wallet, purse, and work cellphone located inside.
Brown’s personal cellphone has not been located, however investigators said it has not been communicating since the morning of Jan. 4.
A candlelight vigil was held outside of Brown’s home on Stratford Court Saturday night, as law enforcement and loved ones continued to search the area for clues in Brown’s disappearance.
"This has been a nightmare," said Diane Brehm, Brown's aunt, in an interview with 6ABC’s Jaclyn Lee. "We are truly living a movie that we're involved in and it's a nightmare."
In a joint report by David Chang, Aaron Baskerville and Deanna Durante at NBC10, the last person to see Brown was identified as Antonio “Blair” Watts-Richardson. Their report indicates that Watts-Richardson was with Brown on Jan. 3 and took her 8-year-old son to his home for a sleepover that evening.
“I put Noah on the bus the next day,” Watts-Richardson said, according to the NBC10 report, later adding that Brown never called him that evening to speak to him or her son.
Watts-Richardson, whose identity was corroborated by 6ABC, stated that and Brown were planning on opening a restaurant together and he didn’t think anything was abnormal on the day of her disappearance.
In an interview with NBC10, Watts-Richardson stated he had “nothing to do with anything,” and indicated he was frustrated with being “poked at.”
“It seems like I’m being the one poked at,” Watts-Richardson said, in the NBC10 report. “And it’s frustrating because I’m the first person that was the one calling the police, trying to kick down windows. Trying to find my friend. Trying to make sure her son is covered.”
Anyone with information about Brown’s disappearance is asked to contact Limerick Township Police at 610-495-7909 or Montgomery County Detectives at 610-226-5553.
