The former business partner of a Montgomery County mother who went missing in early January has been arrested in connection with her death, according to a report by NBC10.

Antonio “Blair” Watts-Richardson, who was described as the last person to see 43-year-old Jennifer Brown, is expected to be charged with murder in connection with her death, the report states. Brown’s remains were found partially buried in a field behind a warehouse in Royersford on Jan. 18.

A spokesperson for the Montgomery County District Attorney’s Office announced a 1 p.m. press conference to provide an update on developments in the case. The NBC 10 report indicates that Watts-Richardson was in court Thursday morning in Chester County for an unrelated issue, when he was arrested in a hallway. He is currently in the custody of the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office, according to the report.

Investigators said Brown was supposed to pick up her son from the school bus stop during the afternoon of Jan. 4, however she never showed up. Her vehicle was later found parked outside of her home with her car keys, wallet, purse, and work cellphone located inside.

In a prior report by David Chang, Aaron Baskerville and Deanna Durante at NBC10, the last person to see Brown was identified as Antonio “Blair” Watts-Richardson. Their report indicated that Watts-Richardson was with Brown on Jan. 3 and took her 8-year-old son to his home for a sleepover that evening.

“I put Noah on the bus the next day,” Watts-Richardson said, according to the NBC10 report, later adding that Brown never called him that evening to speak to him or her son.

Watts-Richardson, whose identity was corroborated by 6ABC, stated that he and Brown were planning on opening a restaurant together and he didn’t think anything was abnormal on the day of her disappearance.

In an interview with NBC10, Watts-Richardson stated he had “nothing to do with anything,” and indicated he was frustrated with being “poked at.”

“It seems like I’m being the one poked at,” Watts-Richardson said, in the NBC10 report. “And it’s frustrating because I’m the first person that was the one calling the police, trying to kick down windows. Trying to find my friend. Trying to make sure her son is covered.”
