Area Fire Companies Responding to Two-Alarm Fire at Brookside Manor in Hatfield Township

UPDATE: Feb. 1, 2:32 p.m. - A second alarm was struck at 2:24 p.m. Cowpath Road has been closed between North Broad Street and North Line Street, per police.

Multiple area fire companies are on the scene of a residential fire at a multi-family dwelling at Brookside Manor in Hatfield Township.

First responders were dispatched to the unit block of Whitemarsh Lane at 2:01 p.m. for a report of heavy fire at a two-story, multiple-family residence. Sources tell North Penn Now at least four apartments are involved in the fire, and heavy fire and smoke is visible on scene.

There is currently no word in injuries, however Montgomery County Department of Public Safety is showing multiple ambulances have been dispatched to the scene.

First responders on scene include units from Hatfield Township Police, Hatfield Fire Company, Colmar Fire Company, Fairmount Fire Company, North Penn Fire Company, Upper Gwynedd Fire Department, Fire Department of Montgomery Township, Volunteer Medical Service Corps of Lansdale, and other supporting units.
