New Owners of Urban Air in East Norriton Discuss Upcoming Upgrades and Renovations

The Halligans of Flourtown have taken their business ventures to new heights.

The couple are the new owners of Urban Air in East Norriton Township, and have their sights set on making some new changes at the popular family entertainment facility.

Brian and Melissa Halligan are no strangers to the entertainment business — they have owned and operated a local golf and pool facility for more than 20 years.

"Adding an Urban Air to their portfolio seemed like the best fit,” said Urban Air East Norriton in a press release. "They want local families to have a place to make memories and have fun together.”

The Halligans are often at the park, greeting guests and making sure everyone is having a great time. Their goal is to make Urban Air East Norriton a go-to spot within the community.

"We want kids to come play, learn, and escape. We want our local schools and organizations to think of us for their fundraising events,” said the Halligans. "We hope to become a true partner in the lives of children and families in our area.”

A clean and safe park is the top priority for the Halligans.

"We encourage our team members to interact and play with the kids by facilitating a game of dodgeball or a race on the warrior course,” they said. "If you have your birthday at Urban Air, our goal is to make sure the birthday child has the best day ever.”

The most popular feature at Urban Air is the sky rider, which is a zip line course that allows children to fly over the park. Other popular attractions include the rock walls, warrior course, battle bean and flip zone.

"We are excited to announce the reopening of a popular attraction in January 2024 called Drop Zone,” they said. "Drop Zone is where guests can jump from a trampoline into a huge soft airbag.”

The Halligans are planning other improvements at the park, including a new facade, upgrades to the birthday party rooms, a cafe renovation, new paint, and new floors.

"As you visit in 2024, you’ll see some exciting new changes, which will improve our guest’s experience,” they said.
