WATCH: Crews Dispatched to Vehicle Fire in Montgomeryville Saturday Night

First responders were dispatched to the intersection of Horsham and North Wales roads in Montgomery Township Saturday evening for a report of a vehicle fire.

Crews arrived at the scene just after 7:30 p.m. on Dec. 2 and found a silver four-door Jeep that was fully engulphed in flames. Personnel from the Fire Department of Montgomery Township quickly placed the fire under control, and no injuries were reported as the driver was able to escape to safety.

It’s unclear what caused the vehicle to catch fire.

Horsham Road was closed for approximately one hour between Bethlehem Pike and Upper State Road as crews worked to clear the scene.
