One Rescued After Multi-Vehicle Crash on Welsh Road Friday Night

One driver was rescued following a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of Welsh and Evans roads in Montgomery Township Friday evening.

First responders were called to the scene just after 6 p.m. on Dec. 1 for a report of a multi-vehicle crash with entrapment. Arriving crews found a Dodge Ram pickup truck and a Toyota Rav4 had collided in the intersection, with the driver of the Toyota becoming trapped as a result of the crash.

Crews worked to free the driver, though it’s unclear if they suffered any injuries. The driver of the Dodge was not injured.

Welsh Road was closed between Bethlehem Pike and Evans Road for approximately 45 minutes as crews worked to process and clear the scene.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.
