Northbound Bethlehem Pike was closed Sunday evening following a multi-vehicle crash in Hilltown Township.
Crews were dispatched to the scene along the 1600 block of Bethlehem Pike shortly after 5 p.m. for a report of a multi-vehicle crash with injuries and entrapment. Upon arrival to the scene, first responders three vehicles – a white Toyota minivan, a black Ford SUV, and a silver Honda Civic – that had crashed in the northbound lanes.
The cause of the crash is unknown at this time and remains under investigation.
Passengers inside of the Honda were rescued by firefighters, though it is unclear if anyone was transported from the scene with injuries.
The road was closed for approximately one hour while crews worked to clear the scene.
