One person was hospitalized Wednesday night after their vehicle overturned during a crash on North Broad Street in Lansdale.
First responders were dispatched to the intersection of Broad and Sixth streets around 11 p.m. on Aug. 30 for a report of a multi-vehicle crash with entrapment. Arriving crews located a white sedan with front-end damage and a black Jeep SUV that had been knocked on its side.
The driver of the Jeep became trapped inside of their vehicle, however they were quickly rescued by firefighters on scene. Police said the driver was transported from the scene via ambulance to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The driver of the sedan was uninjured, police said.
Investigators told North Penn Now photographer Jimmy James that the Jeep was traveling northbound on Broad Street when the white sedan attempted to turn from Sixth Street onto Broad Street and struck the Jeep.
Lansdale Borough Police were assisted at the scene by units from the Fairmount Fire Company, Colmar Fire Company, and VMSC Emergency Medical Services.
