Hilltown Police Seek Identity of Alleged Walmart Thief

Hilltown Township Police are seeking public assistance in identifying a retail theft suspect who allegedly stole more than $1,200 in merchandise from the Walmart on Bethlehem Pike.

Police said the man entered the store on April 19 and placed $1,254.12 worth of merchandise into a shopping cart, then left the store with the merchandise without paying. Primary stolen items came from the store’s hunting and fishing sections, according to police.

“We are fishing for tips or information to help us hunt down the suspect's identity,” said police, utilizing dad-joke level puns in their release.

Anyone with information about the suspect is asked to contact Officer Adam Brannan at 215-453-6000 or via email at [email protected]. Tips can also be submitted electronically here.
