On Saturday, North Montco Education Foundation hosted its second annual car show fundraiser. Over 85 vehicles registered for the event and had the chance to win first or second place trophies in one of six categories (street rods, antique-classic-survivor, muscle car, truck, import, or student). North Montco’s Automotive and Collision Repair instructors judged each of the many unique vehicles. In addition, a Director’s Choice award was selected by Gina Pardovich, North Montco’s Administrative Director, and presented to Jeremy Sisk, who showcased a nostalgic 1951 Ford pickup.
The trophies, creatively designed and built by students in Robert Hunter’s Auto Collision program using internal engine components, were a hit at the show. John Jacobs’ precision machining students added the finishing touches with the engraved trophy plaques they created.
