A missing Bucks County teen has been located safe following a multiple-day search across Bucks and Montgomery counties.
Police said Leilani Sierra, 15, was last seen running from her school on Wednesday, March 29. Investigators said Leilani sent a text to her family that evening stating that she was alright and was staying with friends, however she had not been heard from since that time.
Over the weekend, Bedminster Township Police alerted the media to the teen’s disappearance, in the hopes that the public could assist with the investigation and ensure Leilani’s safe return home.
On Monday afternoon, an officer with Bedminster Police contacted this news organization to report that Leilani had been located and had since been reunited with her family.
“Bedminster Township Police would like to thank North Penn Now and their followers for sharing the article and assisting with the search,” said an official with the department.
No other details about the investigation were provided.
