An Upper Gwynedd man has filed a lawsuit against global sneaker giant Nike after they allegedly failed to provide a refund for a pair of returned Air Max 270s.

In the filing, dated Sept. 27 in Magisterial District Judge Suzan Leonard’s court, the man claims that he bought the sneakers directly from Nike on approximately Aug. 5, however he returned them on Aug. 25. The civil complaint lists the cost of the sneakers as $160, and court costs as $105.89.

“I want my money back, as well as court costs,” reads the end of the complaint.

A civil action hearing has been scheduled for Nov. 21 at 8:30 a.m. Legal representation for Nike has not been listed on the docket, and Nike has not responded to this news organization’s request for comment.
