Two North Penn High School (NPHS) music students have been selected to perform with the All-National Honor Ensembles at the National Association for Music Educators (NafMe) National Conference in National Harbor, Maryland.
Nathan Cho, Bass 2, and Michele Schwartz, French Horn, were selected to perform at the All-National conference. Joshua Kim, a North Penn senior, was also selected as an alternate for Nationals on the french horn.
The NAfME National Conference of All-National Honor Ensembles will be held November 3-6, 2022, in National Harbor, Maryland. Students will be led by the top conductors in the field of music education and have the opportunity to learn from some of the best instructors of music.
To qualify for the All-National Honor Ensembles, students need to have first competed at their local, district, and state level to be eligible for the ensemble. Once selected, students will have access to representatives from prestigious colleges, universities, and conservatories to learn more about opportunities outside of their high schools.
