Hilltown Township Police are seeking public assistance in a fraud investigation, after a local resident discovered a credit card had been fraudulently opened in their name.
Police said the fraud was reported on Aug. 10. Investigators learned the credit card was used to make three separate purchases at the Home Deport in Whitehall on July 25. Total value of the items purchased was $981.56, police said.
The suspect, wearing blue jeans and a blue t-shirt, was captured on store surveillance video. Police provided still images from the video, and the video itself is viewable here.
