Upper Perkiomen Bird and Wildlife Festival Returns to Green Lane Park

Montgomery County’s Green Lane Park will host the 11th Annual Upper Perkiomen Bird and Wildlife Festival on Saturday, Sept. 24, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Visitors are invited to come to the park for a memorable day of fun and learning. This free event features free hayrides, live music, live animal presentations, Monarch Butterfly tagging demonstrations, food vendors, environmentally themed exhibits and vendors, kids’ games, and activities, and much more. Attendees will be able to enter the “Eco-raffle” for a chance to win merchandise donated by local merchants. All proceeds from the raffle benefit The Friends of Green Lane Park.  

This ever- growing community event now draws over 3,000 participants each year, don’t miss out on the fun! Bring the whole family to our biggest event of the year!

About Green Lane Park

Green Lane Park, in northwestern Montgomery County, offers a variety of year-round, outdoor activities and programs for people to choose from. Park visitors can enjoy fishing, boating (including boat rentals), family and group camping, picnicking, 25 miles of trails for horseback riding, mountain biking and hiking, as well as two children’s playgrounds. Winter enthusiasts can cross-country ski, ice fish or go ice skating, weather permitting. The park also offers summer concerts and family-oriented, environmental education programs on weekends. The park is open daily from 6 a.m. to sunset.
