Lansdale is heading towards a crazy weekend later this month, with Round Guys celebrating their 10th Anniversary along with a Punk Rock Flea Market (feature coming Tuesday), Stove and Tap hosting an Oktoberfest celebration on North Wood Street, and Well Crafted Beer Co. celebrating their four-year anniversary with their own Birthday Bash Block Party — all on the same day.
"We debated moving the event based on the number of events going on, but after some discussion, we decided to hold the date to continue the party through the day and remind the town how many great options are available," said Diane Molle, general manager of Well Crafted Beer Company.
Well Crafted’s Birthday Block Party will be held on Sept. 24 from 4 p.m. to 11 p.m. with activities planned at the brewpub and outdoors on Madison Street, which is scheduled to be closed for the duration of the event. Plans for the party include food, live music, a local artist showcase, and a Well Crafted beer tent. Lansdale’s own Wister’s Barbecue and Conshohocken-based Sweet Thang’s Nuts and Candy food truck will be serving their BBQ and desserts. Local favorites Three Beards and a Bush will play folk rock from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., and classic rock musician Pat Stoner is scheduled to wrap up the evening from 8 p.m. to 11 p.m.
Artisans from around the area will also be displaying pieces for sale. Tickets for the event are free and can be acquired here.
Round Guys is planning to release a number of special kegs for their event and Well Crafted has brewed some specialty IPAs and an 18-month bourbon barrel-aged Imperial Stout called Reba to celebrate. Stove and Tap will also feature a local beer competition to compliment their live music and beer garden on North Wood Street.
“After a summer where families were able to vacation out of town, I’m excited to welcome residents home for the birthday bash where they can celebrate with friends and neighbors,” said Lansdale Borough Manager John Ernst.
