Crews on Scene of Residential Fire in Lansdale Borough

Multiple area fire companies are on the scene of a residential fire along the 200 block of Green Street in Lansdale Borough.

Crews were dispatched to the scene at 8:47 a.m. for a report of a building fire. The caller noted that they saw a fire to the rear of a neighbor’s home, and arriving personnel reported encountering an active fire to the rear of the home, according to our sources.

Police have also reported heavy smoke in the area. No reports of injuries have been made at this time.

Fairmount Fire Company is being assisted at the scene by units from Towamencin Fire Company, Worcester Fire Company, Hatfield Fire Company and other neighboring units.

The scene remains active at this time. Residents are strongly encouraged to avoid the area.
