The Drelick family’s four-day winning streak on “Family Feud” came to an end Monday night, when they were defeated by the Travers family in a final score of 211 to 93.
All in all, the Drelicks headed home to Towamencin with $21,895 in prize money, but no new Jeep.
The Drelick Family of Dutchmans Circle is nationally known for its annual Christmas lights spectacle.
Joseph and Tracey Drelick, along with their children Jake, a former North Penn Knights Baseball standout catcher, and Jordynn and maternal matriarch Deb, began their reign on Wednesday when they defeated another family’s four-game winning streak.
However, on the first day, the failed to win the $20,000 “Fast Money” prize, with Tracey getting 155 points and Jake getting 29 points, falling just 16 points shy of 200.
However, their second appearance on Thursday against the Herbert Family got them the big prize in the final round. Deb and Tracey each garnered 151 points and 89 points in “Fast Money,” for a whopping 240 points. Contestants need 200 points to win the $20,000 prize.
During their appearance Friday, the Drelicks were just five points shy of winning another $20,000.
According to The Cold Wire, “Family Feud” contestants must wait at least 90 days to get their money, and even then, the taxable $20,000 prize is split evenly between all five players at a little under $4,000 after taxes.
