(The following information was provided by the Montgomery County Recycling Office.)
The Montgomery County Recycling Office reminds residents that the drop-off recycling program for campaign yard signs will begin after the 2022 General Election starting on Nov. 9.
Plastic campaign signs and metal stands are not accepted as part of curbside recycling. Instead of putting yard signs in the trash, residents can recycle their campaign signs at 16 sites across the county.
Each site will accept campaign signs starting Wednesday, November 9, 2022, through Tuesday, November 15, 2022, during their normal hours of operation. Campaign sign recycling drop off sites are listed below in alphabetical order:
Accepted materials include paperboard and plastic (corrugated and film) yard signs and metal stands.
Questions? Contact Montgomery County Recycling at (610) 278-3618 or email [email protected]. The full list of campaign sign recycling sites can be found by visiting www.montcopa.org/campaignsigns.
