Van Lieus Brewing Company Opens New Taproom in Perkasie

Following a successful soft opening the week prior, Van Lieus Brewing Company (VLBC) officially opened the doors to Perkasie’s newest brewery on Saturday afternoon. Festivities kicked-off with a ribbon-cutting at 3 p.m. with local officials and the community, followed by a Grand Opening party.

Perkasies sense of community makes it a really special place to live and work. Everyone has been so welcoming and supportive, and as a family-owned business, that has meant a lot to us,” said Galen Barr, owner and founder, who opened VLBC in partnership with his father, James (Jim). Our whole goal is to create a comfortable spot to enjoy great beer and good company, and we are excited to finally get to share our dream with our neighbors.”

VLBC will be open for business Thursdays and Fridays, 5 p.m. to 10 p.m., Saturdays from noon to 10 p.m., and Sundays from noon to 5 p.m. In addition to on-site spaces, additional parking is available in the municipal lots in nearby Lenape Park at the Covered Bridge ballpark on Walnut Street.
