North Penn Water Authority Participates in Toys for Tots Program for 23rd Year

For the 23rd year, North Penn Water Authority (NPWA) is proud to be a drop off site for The Toys for Tots Program, sponsored by the U.S. Marine Corps. The public can drop off new, unwrapped items for a child up to 18 years of age in NPWA’s lobby located at 300 Forty Foot Road in Towamencin, Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. now until Dec. 9.

Donations such as toys, books, art supplies, or gift cards are accepted. Age groups where toys are desperately needed are 0-2 years and 8 years and up, especially 11-plus years. The primary goal of Toys for Tots is to deliver, through a new toy at Christmas, a message of hope and help less fortunate youngsters experience the joy of Christmas.

“NPWA continues to support Toys for Tots Foundation as a drop-off location because of what they accomplish each year in our community for children and families in need,” said Anthony J. Bellitto, Jr. P.E., executive director of North Penn Water Authority.

Last year, the Montgomery-Harleysville Region Toys for Tots distributed over 9,000 toys to children in the area.
