Hilltown Township Police have released video of a hit and run accident that occurred last week along the 900 block of Diamon Street.
Surveillance footage dated 6:15 p.m. on May 20 shows a black truck traveling southbound on Diamond Street when the truck veers off of the roadway and into a private driveway, striking and damaging several large Arborvitae trees in the process. The truck then reverses back onto Diamond Street and continues traveling southbound towards Orchard Road.
Police said the driver has made no effort to notify the property owner of the damage, and several of the trees will have to be removed after being damaged.
Anyone with information regarding the incident or the identity of the driver is asked to contact Officer James T. Browne at [email protected]. Tips can also be submitted electronically and anonymously by clicking here.
