Souderton Man Arrested on Third DUI Charge
Kyle Sheridan, 30, was arrested on May 12 in Hatfield Borough and charged with felony DUI and related offenses in connection with a traffic stop at a DUI checkpoint that occurred in July 2021.
Police said Sheridan had bloodshot, watery eyes and smelled of alcohol at the time of the stop. Sheridan reportedly failed a series of field sobriety tests, and a blood test would later show that he had a blood-alcohol concentration of .105% at the time of the stop, police said. Marijuana was also found in Sheridan’s blood test, according to charging documents.
Sheridan has prior DUI convictions in September 2018 and September 2021. He’s currently free on $10,000 unsecured bail.
Sellersville Man Charged with Invasion of Privacy, Unlawful Dissemination of an Intimate Image
Zachary Evans, 36, was arrested on May 3 in Souderton Borough on charges of invasion of privacy and unlawful dissemination of an intimate image.
Investigators said Evans took the image of the woman in April 2020, then shared it with a third person. The victim told police that she was unaware the image existed and would not have allowed it to be taken or shared. Evans and the victim had a consensual phone call in April 2022, in which Evans allegedly apologized for taking the image and admitted to sharing it with a third person, police said.
Charges were filed against Evans on April 20, and he was subsequently arraigned on May 3 by District Judge Albert Augustine, who set bail at $5,000 unsecured. His preliminary hearing is set for June 13 at 1:30 p.m. in front of Judge Augustine.
Two Arrested Following Drunk Fight in Souderton Borough, Police Say
Robert Lawrence, 34, of Schwenksville, and Christopher Bieler, 38, of Souderton, were charged on May 9 with harassment, disorderly conduct, public drunkenness, and disorderly practices prohibited, in connection with a fight that occurred on April 23 in Souderton Borough.
Police were initially dispatched to the unit block of West Chestnut Street at 7:02 p.m. for a report of a fight in progress, however upon arrival, the parties were no longer on scene. Investigators retrieved surveillance footage of the incident on May 2, which allegedly showed Lawrence and Bieler repeatedly engaging in fights as people walked by and children played in an adjacent park.
Both Lawrence and Bieler have preliminary hearings on July 18 in front of District Judge Albert Augustine.
