The Towamencin Chapter of Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) presented a check for $300 to Susan Clauser, Director of Adult Education at Keystone Opportunity Center, on May 12. One of the goals of DAR is to improve educational opportunities, and the funds are slated to buy calculators used by Keystone’s students taking the GED test in order to earn a high school diploma.
Located in Souderton, Keystone Opportunity Center is a non-profit organization that offers numerous programs to serve those in need in Montgomery and Bucks counties to become self-sufficient, including free comprehensive adult education services via online and in person classroom instruction or tutoring.
