North Penn School District will hold a farewell parade for retiring Superintendent Dr. Curtis Dietrich on May 27. The parade will begin at 9 a.m. at the Educational Services Center, 401 E Hancock Street, Lansdale, PA. The parade will then tour around the North Penn School District on the following schedule (times are approximate):
Dr. Dietrich will drive through these schools, where students will come outside to wave goodbye and wish him well in retirement. Students will bring signs, mascots, and at his final stop at North Penn High School be greeted in grand style. On the tour, North Penn Television (NPTV) will be interviewing Dr. Dietrich about his time at North Penn and his future plans, which will be live streamed on NPTV.
Dr. Dietrich has served as superintendent for more than 12 years, which is significantly longer than average for this leadership position. To learn about Dr. Dietrich, click here.
