Pedestrian Struck, Killed on Bethlehem Pike Friday Night in Hatfield Township

Hatfield Township Police have released some of the details from a fatal vehicle accident that occurred on Bethlehem Pike Friday night.

Police were dispatched to the 700 block of Bethlehem Pike at 8:48 p.m. on May 6 for a report of a vehicle accident involving a pedestrian that had been struck. Upon arrival, police located a 63-year-old male victim who had been struck by a Honda CRV.

A preliminary investigation showed the Honda was traveling southbound on Bethlehem Pike in the left lane when it struck the pedestrian, who was attempting to cross the roadway. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
