Photos: Vehicle Crash Forces Closure of North Broad Street in Lansdale Monday Morning

A two-vehicle crash has forced the closure of a portion of North Broad Street in Lansdale Borough Monday morning.

According to the Montgomery County Department of Public Safety (DPS), police and emergency medical services were dispatched to the intersection of East Fifth and North Broad streets at 9:07 a.m. for a report of a vehicle crash. DPS is reporting it does not look like there are any injuries.

Montco News Feed’s Jim Plunkett is on scene and is reporting that a white vehicle has already been removed from the scene via a tow truck, and crews are currently working on towing the second vehicle, which appears to have struck a nearby building. Plunkett said North Broad Street is currently closed between Seventh Street and Fourth Street, as crews work to clear the scene.

Motorists are asked to avoid the area. The cause of the crash is unknown at this time.
