Man Arrested After Selling Cocaine to Undercover Detective in Montgomery Township, Investigators Say

A Philadelphia man is facing drug trafficking charges after he allegedly sold seven grams of cocaine to an undercover detective with the Montgomery County Detective Bureau in November of last year.

Kyle McCorey Glenn, 30, has been charged felony possession with intent to distribute and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia, in connection with the investigation. He is currently free on $2,500 unsecured bail.

Police said on Nov. 10, 2021, they made arrangements with McCorey Glenn over the phone to purchase seven grams of cocaine for $350 later that day. McCorey Glenn allegedly arrived at the location in Montgomery Township just before 5 p.m. and handed the undercover detective two bags containing white powder that would field test positive for cocaine.

The combined package weight was approximately 9.02 grams, police said.

Charges were filed against McCorey Glenn on April 14, and he was subsequently taken into custody on April 20. His preliminary hearing is scheduled for May 31 at 11:30 a.m. in front of District Judge Andrea Duffy.

Court records show that McCorey Glenn pleaded guilty in Montgomery County to making false statements under penalty in January, and he was sentenced to one year of probation.

All suspects and defendants are innocent until proven guilty. This story was compiled using court records and the affidavit of probable cause.
