Rock N Rebel Saloon & Grille Closes Doors After Nearly 12 Years in Hilltown Township

After nearly 12 years in business, the owners of Rock N Rebel Saloon & Grille have retired and closed the doors for good on March 19.

The venue, formerly known as Stadium North, that featured a lineup of rock music, country music and line dancing in a sports bar setting, was located at 1903 Bethlehem Pike in Hilltown Township.

On the morning after its closure, a message was posted to its Facebook page thanking the community and clientele for 12 years of service:

We successfully ran the place for 12 years. Our family wanted to move onWe can't thank you enough for all the memories and good times we have had at Rock N Rebel.

You made this bar a home away from home where people from all over could come and feel comfortable and have a great time. We appreciate the love and support throughout the years as we couldn't have done it without you all!

We especially want to shout out our hard working staff who really made this place what it is! We have never met a better group of people and we thank them from the bottom of our hearts for taking care of the Rebel.

Thank you again! We will miss you!

Rock N Rebel posted on its Facebook a few months back that retirement was the plan:

Over the past few months, you may have heard that our family is coming up on some big changes! While we are incredibly excited to start our new journey, it is bittersweet as it means bidding farewell to the Rock N Rebel. We would like to thank each and every one of you for making our establishment feel like a home over the past 12 years. From our time as the Stadium North, our dedicated customers have made the bar a what it is - a second home “where everybody knows your name.”

An email to the owners of Rock N Rebel was not returned by press time.

The status of the state liquor license for the restaurant, which was once known as The Pub II and Hilltown Pub, is unknown at this time.

The 6.5-acre property and its 1925-era commercial structure, according to Bucks County property records, was purchased by Hilltown Holdings LLC – owned by Wally and Rochelle Rosenthal, of Hilltown Township – for $1 million in August 2007 from Frank and Loretta Chookagian. According to property records, the parcel had two prior owners through the 1970s and earlier, Florence Ricciardi and Catarina Palmer.
