Two new fast food restaurants may soon be coming to join the newly-opened Taco Bell and Super Wawa at the Mainland Pointe mixed-use development on Sumneytown Pike at Quarry Road in Lower Salford, near Harleysville and Towamencin, according to The Reporter.
Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen and Arby’s are two new dining choices proposed for the development, according to Lower Salford Township Director of Building & Zoning Mike Beuke in the article. Developer SHR Harleysville LP will go through a conditional use hearing for supervisors to allow or deny drive-throughs for both sites, per the report.
Mainland Pointe was approved in a 4-1 vote by township supervisors in October 2021. It boasts 18 single-family homes priced between $414,000 and $500,00, and ranging in size from 2,025 to 2,677 square feet.
The nearest Arby’s to the North Penn area is at Route 202 and East Germantown Pike in East Norriton Township. There is a Popeye’s on North Broad Street in Hatfield Township, as well as a Taco Bell/Long John Silvers across the street.
