The Harlem Wizards, comedy basketball team, are once again traveling to North Penn on Saturday, April 9 at 2 p.m. in the North Penn High School gym. The Wizards will take on the North Penn Dream Team, comprised of staff and administration from around the district.
Founded in 1962, the Harlem Wizards are a traveling basketball team, known for their fun-filled performances of comedy, feats of athleticism, and audience interaction. North Penn has played host to the Harlem Wizards eight times now, each more action-packed than the last. The North Penn Dream Team is prepared to defeat the Wizards, assembling an All-Star team of staff, including teachers Dave Foley and Derek Fickert, Assistant Superintendent Todd Bauer, and many others. The game is bound to be a night full of laughter and fun for all ages.
Community members are invited to join the Wizards on April 9 at 2 p.m. General admission tickets are $12 for students, $15 for adults. Reserved seating tickets with a free poster or $5 souvenir voucher are $20 each. Courtside Plus tickets, $40 each, include reserved seating, pregame meet and greet with players, souvenir lanyard, team poster or $5 souvenir voucher, and a $10 discount on a Wizards replica jersey.
