Hatfield Exxon Uni-Mart Burglarized Early Monday Morning, Police Seek IDs of Two Suspects

Hatfield Township Police are seeking the IDs and whereabouts of two male suspects who burglarized the Exxon Uni-Mart on Welsh Road early Monday morning.

Police were dispatched to the 1400 block of Welsh Road at 7:28 a.m. on Feb. 28 for a report of a burglary. Investigators learned that two male suspects gained access to the store at 4:05 a.m. by forcing open the exterior doors to the store with a large, yellow pry tool.

Once inside, the two suspects stole cash from two registers, numerous packs of cigarettes and a Pennsylvania Lottery display tower filled with unpurchased scratch-off lottery tickets. The suspects then fled the scene in an older, silver colored Mercedes Benz SUV, police said.

Anyone with information about the burglary, including the identities and whereabouts of the suspects, is asked to contact the Pennsylvania Crime Stoppers at 1-800-4PA-TIPS. Tips can also be submitted electronically and anonymously by clicking here.

Officials said there is a cash reward for information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the suspects, however an amount was not provided.
