Are you looking for fun, educational in-person events for kids? Super Saturday returns to the North Penn School District on Saturday, April 2.
Presented by North Penn Association for Gifted Education (NPAGE) in
conjunction with the NPSD, Super Saturday is an
easy way to introduce and excite children's interests in learning about
something new. All children in grades K through 6 from the North Penn
community can sign up for three 45-minute classes that are taught on a
Saturday morning.
New classes this year include Intro to Micro:bit, Young Scientist, and
How to Debate. With the new offerings, some fun favorites have returned,
including Seeing Eye Puppies, Scratch Programming and Karate. There are
many creative classes, chess, math and more. Class topics are diverse,
so there is something for everyone.
Come join the fun! Class sizes are limited, so register early for the best selection. Registration closes March 23.
Super Saturday runs from 9 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. (sign-in from 8:30 to 8:50 a.m.) at Pennfield Middle School, 726 Forty Foot Rd, Hatfield. Registration fee for NPAGE members is $12, for non-members $18. To register, go to
www.npenn.org/npage and click on Register for Super Saturday. View the event flyer for class options, then click the "register" button.
NPAGE is a non-profit, incorporated educational organization that works on behalf of gifted students, their families, teachers, educational administrators and friends of gifted education in the North Penn community. It's an affiliated chapter of the Pennsylvania Association for Gifted Education Inc. (PAGE), which shares information statewide on developments in gifted education.
Super Saturday is NPAGE’s largest annual event. Most of the individuals and organizations that present classes donate their time and resources for the benefit of education. The money raised goes to help fund NPAGE activities including school trips, teacher grants, and student scholarships.
