Police Release Details of Sunday Night Shooting Incident in Hatfield, Public Assistance Sought

Hatfield Township Police have released the details of a shooting incident that occurred Sunday night along the 2000 block of Maple Avenue.

Police were dispatched to the scene at 9:41 p.m. on June 26 for a report of shots fired. Responding police located a vehicle with its rear window shattered and other damage consistent with being struck by gunfire, and investigators recovered ballistic evidence from the vehicle and a nearby parking lot area.

No one was injured in the incident.

Police said there was an altercation between the victims and two Hispanic male suspects, with one wearing a red shirt and the second wearing a black shirt. Both suspects fled the scene in a dark colored, possibly black sedan.
