North Penn Water Authority Releases Annual Water Quality Report

(The following is a press release from the North Penn Water Authority.)

In accordance with provisions of the Federal Safe Drinking Water Act, North Penn Water Authority (NPWA) has released its 2022 Annual Drinking Water Quality Report. The Authority releases this report each year to give customers a snapshot of last year’s water quality.

Included are details about where customers’ water comes from, what it contains and how it compares to Environmental Protection Agency and Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection state standards.

This report contains important information about the quality of customers’ drinking water, which meets or exceeds all primary state and federal Safe Drinking Water Act standards. NPWA's 2022 Annual Drinking Water Quality Report has been distributed by mail or other direct delivery methods to all rate-paying customers the week of May 22, and will be available at municipal offices and public libraries in the  service area.

The report can also be found on the Authority’s website at www.npwa.org, or a copy can be obtained by calling the Public Relations Coordinator at the Authority’s office at (215) 855-3617.

Established in 1965, North Penn Water Authority is a municipally owned, nonprofit Authority with a dedicated, professional workforce committed to providing the community with a safe, reliable, and economical water supply. Water supplied to their customers comes from both a surface water supply that is treated at the state of the art Forest Park Water Treatment Plant (FPWTP) and from groundwater wells located throughout the service area.
