Last weekend, it was cops and kids on the softball field.
A "People and Police” softball game, organized by Lansdale Borough business
The Black Reserve Bookstore, took place at the field at Plains Mennonite Church in Hatfield,
per The Reporter.
Officers from Hatfield, Lansdale, Montgomery Township, Upper Gwynedd and Whitpain Township police departments played ball against a dozen North Penn High School students. It was the second year for the softball challenge.
"All in all some fun, some camaraderie and some friendships were made,”
posted Hatfield Township Police Department on Facebook. "The hope is to grow the game and make some great memories annually for all, especially the kids. Thanks to everyone who took part in the fun!”
