Fairmount Fire Company’s annual "Under the Lights" car show returns June 18 along West Main Street in Lansdale Borough.
The event begins at 7 p.m., rain or shine. In addition to the hundreds of vehicles, there will be food vendors and music by Larry the Weasel, along with contests and other festivities.
Participants can pre-register online or in-person at the Fairmount Fire House at 100 Vine Street from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. until June 16 for a $15 fee. Additionally, they may register on the day of the event from 3 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. on Cannon Ave for a $20 fee. A link to the registration form can be found on the Fairmount Fire Company website.
The car show began in 1991, according to the website, and it is the company’s largest fundraiser of the year. The funds are used to maintain and purchase new equipment and provide training for all members.
From antique to modern vehicles, the show displays hundreds of cars and draws in tens of thousands of spectators each year.
