Popeyes Drive-Thru Approved at Mainland Pointe by Lower Salford Supervisors, Arby’s Conditional Use Hearing Set for July

Two more fast food options are closer to joining Taco Bell and Wawa at Mainland Pointe in Lower Salford Township, on the outskirts of Harleysville near the Henning’s Market shopping plaza.

Popeyes and Arby’s are planned to open at the new development at Route 63/Sumneytown Pike and Quarry Road/American Way, with the Popeyes request for conditional use approval for a drive-through approved last week by Lower Salford Township supervisors, according to The Reporter.

Land development plans have not been submitted for Popeyes, per the article. The Popeyes drive-through will have two access points, merging to one, with a drive-through that can accommodate up to 15 vehicles, per the report, similar to the Chick-fil-A layout in Towamencin. There will be no direct access from Popeyes onto Sumneytown Pike.

In July, there will be a conditional use hearing for a drive-through for the Arby’s proposal, per the report.
