The North Penn School District Educational Foundation is holding its annual Build a Bag school supply drive in preparation for the 2022-2023 school year. Supplies collected during the drive will be provided to students in need before the start of school in August.
Each year, the North Penn School District Educational Foundation works in partnership with schools and guidance counselors to help families and students in need get the supplies they need to be successful in school. By alleviating the financial burden that school supplies can bring, students are able to focus solely on their studies and know they are set up for success. Supplies are given to students discreetly by their guidance counselors prior to the start of school.
Individuals interested in donating to the drive can do so in several ways. There are drop off bins located at businesses throughout the North Penn community who have partnered with the NPSD Educational Foundation to support students in need. The list of supplies needed can be found on the Foundation website here. Those locations are as follows:

The NPSD Educational Foundation is also accepting monetary donations that will be used to purchase any items not covered by community donations. To donate online, please click here. The NPSD Educational Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, and all donations are tax-deductible.
Since 2018, the NPSD Educational Foundation Build-a-Bag program has provided backpacks and supplies to hundreds of children within the North Penn School District.
