Indian Creek Foundation Increases Pay for Residential Direct Support Staff, Other Positions

Indian Creek Foundation (ICF) recently announced their Residential Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) will receive an increase in pay starting at $18-per-hour, with increased pay for all other positions as well.

This increase is part of ICF’s commitment to their caregivers, consumers, and families, according to the press release.

“When we have a good year, we’ll try to pass that along to our staff in terms of salary and other benefits as well,” Brett Wells, Director of Development, said. “We're making sure that everyone who has been a part of our success also gets to reap some of those rewards too.”

Indian Creek Foundation provides services to adults and children with intellectual and developmental disabilities. DSPs provide hands-on care to individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities by assisting with activities such as daily living, personal care, meal preparation and community outings.

All current staff salaries were increased by 6% as of June 26.

“DSPs play a special role in our mission,” CEO Dean Stoesz said in a press release. “They meet the varied needs of our clients while also providing an extraordinary degree of compassion and dedication. We value the contributions of all our staff and the organization has made a significant commitment to paying a higher-than-average wage to all new DSPs and staff across the organization.”

The organization is also hiring in several areas, including administration, behavioral health, property management, maintenance, and nursing. Indian Creek Foundation offers paid training, vacation/sick time, and health insurance.

Candidates are encouraged to apply online at www.indcreek.org/employment or to contact the human resources department at 267-206-1500 extension 323 at their earliest convenience.
