Police Investigating Thefts from Vehicles in Upper Gwynedd

Upper Gwynedd Police are investigating multiple thefts from vehicles that occurred on South Broad Street during the overnight hours between July 18 and July 19.

“We are asking residents to check their vehicles to see if anything is missing and if so, contact us,” said Upper Gwynedd Police Chief David Duffy.

Duffy said police recovered a stolen vehicle early Tuesday morning and found evidence that the suspects involved in the vehicle theft may have been involved in the thefts from vehicles in the area. Duffy added that two suspects involved in the vehicle theft have since been identified.

Police also said they have located some foreign currency coins and are attempting to identify their owner.

Duffy also offered a reminder to residents to keep the doors to their vehicles locked.
