Three goats have been brought back to their home thanks to the efforts and concern of Upper Gwynedd Police.
Officials said Officer Yin Young handled the call Tuesday morning around 8:30 a.m. to rescue three stray goats wandering in and out of traffic along the 700 block of North Wales Road.
"When I herd about the call, I was glad to hear Officer Young handled it, because he is the G.O.A.T. in UGPD,” Upper Gwynedd Police Chief David Duffy said.
Fortunately, the goats were cooperative and followed Officer Young as he brought them back to their property.
“It’s unique,” Young said. “I’ve never dealt with goats before on the job.”
While Officer Young may not have had previous on the job experience with goats, he did use wire cutters to free a deer that became ensnared in a fence on Marylyns Lane a few years ago.
