Police Searching for Harleysville Teen Who Went Missing in North Wildwood (UPDATE: Found)

UPDATE: July 13, 8:37 a.m. - North Wildwood Police have confirmed that Mehaffey has been located and reunited with her family. No further information was provided.

North Wildwood Police are seeking public assistance after a teen from Harleysville went missing at the shore over the weekend.

Police said 16-year-old Kaylee Mehaffey, of Harleysville, was last seen in North Wildwood on Sunday, July 10. She is described as a white female standing approximately 5-foot-5-inches tall and weighing 120 pounds. Mehaffey was last seen wearing a pink t-shirt with a pink and blue large circle design on the back, along with burgundy shorts, brown sandals and possibly a white baseball hat bearing the words “Shippensburg Field Hockey.”

Mehaffey in known to frequent the North Wildwood and Wildwood boardwalk in the summer, however her primary residence is listed as Harleysville.
