Lansdale Police Seek Leads After Pedestrian Struck in Hit and Run Incident Wednesday Evening

A pedestrian was hospitalized Wednesday evening after being struck by a hit-and-run driver along the 700 block of East Main Street in Lansdale Borough.

Police said they were dispatched to the scene at 5:39 p.m. for a report of a hit and run accident involving a pedestrian. On arrival, police learned that a pedestrian was struck by a vehicle exiting the Wissahickon Park Apartment complex, described as a dark blue sedan that may possibly be a Hyundai Sonata.

The vehicle was last seen heading westbound on East Main Street, police said. The pedestrian was transported from the scene via ambulance to a local hospital for treatment of their injuries.
