A portion of Walnut Street in North Wales was shutdown on Wednesday night after a delivery struck a building and some wires while making a delivery to Wawa.
Crews were dispatched to the intersection of Walnut and West Seventh streets at 9:17 p.m. for a fire investigation. Arriving crews found a tractor trailer positioned across Walnut Street as it attempted to back into the narrow alley behind Wawa.
Officials from the fire company said the truck struck the building and some wires, however no injuries were reported. The scene has since been cleared and the roadway has been reopened.
North Penn Fire Company was assisted at the scene by fire police from Fairmount Fire Company, according to the Montgomery County Department of Public Safety.
