Montco Man Heading to Prison for Statutory Sexual Assault of Teen He Met at Montgomery Mall

An East Norriton man will sit in state prison for five to 12 years for the statutory sexual assault of a 14-year-old girl, whom he met at Montgomery Mall four years ago and then had sex with in the parking lot the same night, according to the Pottstown Mercury. The sexual relationship lasted eight months, per reports.

Nathan Andrew John Brown, 25, of the 3200 block of Markle Road, was sentenced by Judge Harry S. Hilles III this week, after pleading guilty to statutory sexual assault, involuntary deviate sexual intercourse with a child, and corruption of a minor, per reports. Brown must comply with a sex offender risk assessment evaluation and faces lifetime address registration with the state police, and he cannot have unsupervised contact with minors or the victim.

Brown was 21 in November 2017 when the incidents began with the teenager, and continued through July 2018, per reports. They had sex more than 100 times in parking lots and in Brown’s home in that eight-month period, according to reports.

In March 2019, Montgomery Township Police investigated a missing juvenile female, per the article. The juvenile told police she met Brown at a store in Montgomery Mall in November 2017, and they then had sex inside his car, per the article. According to the report, she told Brown she was 14 and he supplied her with alcohol.
