Amy Cummings-Leight and Art Bustard
The North Penn Water Authority has announced two new members of its board of directors. They were appointed by their resppective municipalities.
Amy Cummings-Leight will represent Souderton Borough, replacing Marvin Anders after 47 years of service and completing his remaining five-year term expiring at the end of 2024. She currently is director of advancement at Frederick Living, and
has experience managing budgets, raising funds, and serving on numerous
local and statewide boards and associations.
Art Bustard will represent Worcester Township for a five-year term, and replaces Paul Ziegler after 16 years of service. Bustard served for 12 years as Worcester
Township Supervisor and two years as president of the Montgomery County
Association of Township Officials. He has also owned and managed his own business,
Cedars Advertising, for over 30 years out of Worcester.
"Both Amy and Art come to us with a strong familiarity with NPWA, and many attributes that will be valuable to the Board,” said Anthony J. Bellitto, Jr., P.E., executive director of NPWA. "I look forward to working with them and gaining fresh insight as they bring to us their municipal and career experience.”
The NPWA Board of Directors consists of ten volunteer members, each appointed for a five-year term by their respective municipality. It is the responsibility of each member of the Board of Directors to represent their communities’ interest in the running and operation of NPWA. The Board is responsible for setting the policies, rules, and rates under which NPWA operates. Board meetings are held once per month and are open to the public. Established in 1965, North Penn Water Authority (NPWA) is a municipally owned, nonprofit authority whose mission is to provide the community with a safe, reliable, and economical water supply.
