Pennbrook Middle School To Stage 'You're A Good Man, Charlie Brown'

Pennbrook MiddleSchool

Good grief! Pennbrook Middle School will present the play You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown on March 10, 11, 12, and 13 in the school auditorium.

You’re a Good Man Charlie Brown is a 1967 musical comedy with music and lyrics by Clark Gesner, with additional music and lyrics by Andrew Lippa and dialogue by Michael Mayer, based on the characters created by cartoonist Charles M. Schulz in his iconic comic strip Peanuts.

Charlie Brown and the rest of the friends battle with kites, school, baseball, and misunderstandings before finally coming to realize what makes them truly happy. The show is a charming revue of vignettes and songs, spanning the months from Valentine’s Day to Beethoven Day, from wild optimism to utter despair.

Tickets are $8 and available online for purchase now. Seats can be reserved by clicking here.

The show runs for 1 hour and 45 minutes. There will be an intermission with snacks available for purchase. Masks are required at all times in the building. The show is double-cast, so each show alternates between Red and Blue casts. Production lists are available at tinyurl.com/pbtheatre.

Performances will be Thursday, March 10 through Saturday March 12, at 7 p.m., and Sunday, March 13 at 2 p.m. Pennbrook is located at 1201 North Wales Road, North Wales. Everyone entering the school must be masked at all times.
