Multiple area fire companies are currently on the scene of a garage fire along the 500 block of Walnut Street in Lansdale Borough.
Units were dispatched to the scene at 11:30 a.m. Police, who were the first to arrive to the scene, reported a fully-involved fire in a garage on the property. The scene is active at this time.
No injuries have been reported and the cause of the fire is currently unknown. Motorists are encouraged to avoid the area.
Fairmount Fire Company is being assisted at the scene by units from the Lansdale Borough Police Department, Volunteer Medical Service Corps of Lansdale, Hatfield Fire Company, Colmar Fire Company and Upper Gwynedd Fire Department.
