Holiday Lights Bike Ride Scheduled for Wednesday Evening in Lansdale

The Holiday Lights Bike Ride through Lansdale Borough will officially kick off Wednesday evening at 7 p.m.

Participants are asked to meet at Round Guys Brewing Co. on South Wood Street, with the ride beginning no later than 7:15 p.m. Bicycle helmets are mandatory, and riders are encouraged to wear warm layers and gloves.

Organizers said the bike route will be no longer than four miles, and will mostly focus on residential streets with low traffic. The purpose of the ride is to take in all of the holiday light displays put out by local residents.

Bike lights are also encouraged.

“We want this to be festive, but we also want to be visible to drivers,” said the organizers. “Be creative with your lights! Horns, sleigh bells, cowbells and other noise makers would be great.”
